Kate is a Solicitor in the Employment law team at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors. She is experienced in advising both employees and employers on employment law disputes and human resource strategy.

Kate advises upon all manner of employment related issues, including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, restrictive covenants, whistleblowing and discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010. She is also experienced in drafting contracts and negotiating settlement agreements.

In addition to advisory work, Kate conducts employment tribunal litigation on behalf of individuals and businesses.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2021 at a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London. Prior to that she worked for several years in project management, primarily on legal projects, within the charity and public health sector.

Kate has a degree in law from Newcastle University, as well as a Master’s degree in law from University College London. Kate completed her Legal Practice Course at De Montford University in 2018. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Kate is known for her pragmatic approach to resolving disputes and is particularly adept at undertaking complex negotiation on behalf of clients.
