Routes to re-opening your office workspace

Meredith Hurst, partner and Head of the employment law, joins office design expert Christian Logue from Sagal Group to discuss what the latest regulations and advice mean to employers with teams in office environments.

The session will be run by Urbano, an independent business networking community, and chaired by Mark Herring, founder and Managing Director of Urbano.

On Sunday 10 May, the Prime Minister detailed the Government’s plan to reopen offices and other places of work while minimises the spread of coronavirus.

The webinar will look at three common office layouts and their different dynamics: the open plan office, the office with meeting rooms and shared areas, and the co-working hub.

Each layout has its own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to social distancing and other concerns. The session will look at the five issues likely to faced during the working the day from the perspective of both workers and employers:

• Reception
• Desk
• Shared spaces
• Meeting rooms
• Time management

We will also discuss responsibility for enforcement and duty of care for each issue raised.
