If you have any suggestions about how the service to you could be improved, or should there be any aspect of our service with which you are not satisfied at any time, in the first instance you should raise the matter with the solicitor with whom you deal or a partner. If you would like to make a formal complaint, you should do so in writing addressed to the supervising partner of your matter, who is identified in the client care letter and ask for a copy of our complaints procedure. We have a two stage complaints procedure with the second stage being an appeal.

If you are not satisfied with our handling of your complaint, you may contact the Legal Ombudsman, which is an independent and impartial scheme that deals with complaints about our work or our service. You should contact the Ombudsmen not later than six months of our written response to your complaint and within six years from the act/omission complained of or, three years from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.
