Thomas Mansfield offer a full Employment Law Retainer Scheme for Employers. It gives your business access to our specialist employment solicitors and know-how for a monthly fixed fee over a period of 12 months.
If you require small amounts of advice but on a regular basis, our retainer schemes offer excellent value for money. You make a regular monthly payment at a discounted hourly rate. Any time left over is automatically banked and carried over to the next month. If you exceed your hour(s) or banked hour(s) in any month, you pay for advice at our normal hourly rates, shown below.
You also have the option to add an employment tribunal insurance policy onto your retainer. This is is designed to reduce the risk of expensive claims and wasted management time and pays for the legal costs of a claim to be defended and awards of tribunal compensation.

Our costs and are generally charged by reference to the time spent by the solicitor(s) dealing with your claim. Profiles of our specialist employment lawyers and paralegals are on our website and can be viewed here. Our hourly rates vary by location and experience and, as at November 2021, are:
